Feeling like Joaquin Phoenix | I’m Still Here

So today I am feeling a little bit under the weather, but I am still working hard. I remember the good old days when you could call in sick to work, but when you’re running your own business it’s a little bit different. The good thing is I’m working in the comfort of my own office with some soup, cough syrup, and no pants on, the perfect remedy for having to work sick. I’m sorry if you just visualized that.

Anyway, just making a post so you know I’m still here and still working on some content to deliver to You, I’m creating an awesome ebook that will be the guide to everything to do with digital marketing, and I’m going to give it to you for free!! It’s gonna be packed full of awesome value, it’s coming soon I promise.

No longer will you have to give up your email for just a piece of the puzzle, you can come here and download the complete finished puzzle for free without having to give up that precious email, trust me that can get annoying. Having hundreds of “gurus” emailing you.

I’m working on some commercials for clients that I can’t wait to share. It’s really exciting and presents a creative challenge, which I love!

I am still working with my monthly clients, still dropshipping, still User Testing, still web managing, still hustling…

I’m writing up some long posts bout each of my endevours to show real ways to make money online, and which ones not to waste your time on because I’ve done em all!

Anyway, just an update, stay tuned, lots of stuff coming!

Introductions / Honest Marketing @ Digital Clinic

Here is a little introduction, I stepped in front of the camera this time so you could put a face to the voice. I tell you why I started making videos, and give you a little insight on all the marketers ads you’ve been seeing.

Now of course what I say in the video is not a blanket statment, if you agree with me then your probably an honest marketer and have nothing to worry about. If you disagree with what I said you may just be who I am talking about.

I have no problem with webinars or courses, as long as they have value. I have a problem when someone that has no real professional experience as a marketer goes online and copy and pastes other peoples knowledge and pass it off as their own master plan that they sell for hundreds of dollars. Let me know your thoughts on the video!

Thanks,

Evan Beale @ Digital Clinic

How to Build a Sales Funnel using WordPress

In my last video about Alternative to Clickfunnels, I talked about how you could build a sales funnels using WordPress. In this video I go more into depth, showing you exactly how to set up a sales funnel landing page within your very own WordPress site.

As I have made clear, clickfunnels is cool, but to me it makes no sense to pay for a third party page builder when your already paying for WordPress. Especially when that page builder is $97 a month.

Watch the video below:

If you don’t want to do it this way, look into Elementor or other page builder plug-ins for WordPress, its nice to keep everything in house and get a nice SEO boost.

It really isn’t hard to make something like this, and it will save you a bunch of money instead of wasting it on an overpriced service.

Clickfunnels Landing Page

Dissecting this Screenshot:

1. You barely need to code or know how to design to make what I just showed you, or their are free/cheaper options.

2. In the paragraph where he talks about, “being held hostage by the tech nerds you used to tease in high school” – now we all know Russell Wrestled in school, so there might actually be some truth here, I’m beginning to think Russell had a bad encounter with a Developer/Coder he use to tease, and he co-founded clickfunnels solely to cut out “the nerd” lol, either way at the end of the paragraph he says “Pay too much money for something you don’t even know will work” – in all fairness, his service (a page builder) is $97 a month and every time you make a clickfunnel you don’t know if it will work or not, it ultimately comes down to the product and how well you run your ads not your actual funnel. You could have an awesome looking funnel but a crappy product, guess what, it’s not gonna sell.

3. He then talks about how something so simple that should only take minutes somehow becomes hours then days then weeks. – As you can see in my video, it does only take a few minutes, and you can do it yourself, you don’t need to hire some expensive coder.

I am no way attempting to put Russel on blast or anything, hes an awesome entrepreneur and has written some awesome books, the guy has a ton of value he can offer you and clickfunnels has value, but not worth $97 a month when there are just as good, free or cheaper options.

Day-2-Day 5-Step Guide to Organic Growth on Instagram

.       Instagram is by far the easiest platform to get organic growth, and organic growth is almost more important than paid growth because organic growth is where you’re going to get your real loyal customers from.

.        The simple answer to the question of organic growth on Instagram is simple, its engagement. To get organic growth, a.k.a. non-paid engagement, on your Instagram you must engage with people and post engaging content.

.        This is a lot of hard work and takes a lot of time, and a lot of people don’t want to take the time to do it so they rely heavily on paid reach and Engagement. Although paid reach is amazing, you want to get some organic reach before you start running ads, it will help with social proof once that paid reach gets to your page.

.        So below I will outline the step-by-step guide to what you should be doing when you’re on Instagram to gain organic reach.

1. Post – Your going to want to post at least once a day, for certain profiles that I manage I post three times a day. Your going to need to make sure that the content you’re posting is visually interesting, mentally interesting, and everything overall interesting, nobody’s going to engage with something that isn’t cool looking or is a boring subject. Next you’re going to want to use hashtags that directly relate to the subject matter in your post, you can only use 30 so choose wisely. Another popular way to get people to engage with your post is to ask them a question in the caption of your photo. After you have been posting for a few weeks make sure you check your analytics and see when the best time to post is on each day.

2. Wine and Dine the Top Nine – next you’re going to search all the hashtags that you have been using in your recent posts and select the top nine photos for each hashtag, go into each profile, like multiple pictures of theirs, leave them comments on how much you like their wall, then follow them, then direct message them with either a deal or brief introduction.

3. All the Rest – Your going to do what you did in step 2, but with all the rest of the photos for the tags you have been using, so first do the top 9, then move on to the rest.

4. The Power of the DM – The power of the DM on Instagram is ridiculous, don’t be afraid to use it, whether is just a brief hello and introduction or offering a deal or what ever it may be, a good rule to stick by is that you need to be offering them more value than what your getting in return, otherwise people won’t take the time to do what you want them to do.

5. Feed the Likes – After you start to get followers on Instagram make sure you keep those followers, every time see a photo pop up on your feed make sure you like it or leave a comment, not only does that keep your brand fresh in your followers minds, it also makes sure that they don’t delete you for being a ghost follower.

Cheaper Alternatives to Clickfunnels

Clickfunnels is great, luckily aside from being a Digital Marketer, I’m a graphic/web designer and do not need the service…

But honestly I don’t think anyone does for $97 a month, you can achieve the same thing with Canvas…

Again clickfunnels is a great service and if you like it I am happy for you but I don’t think people desperately need it at that price, the only reason I point this out is because lately I see a lot of fellow marketers pushing clickfunnels, but not mentioning 1, that they’re getting $37 dollar for every referral, and 2, you can achieve the same effect with FB Canvas and WordPress.

I’m fine with making money through referral programs but I’m gonna be upfront about it and will tell you if there’s a free product that can produce the same results.

I really didn’t want to start making videos because I didn’t want to be one of those “Gurus” or “Mentors” so I probably won’t post to many videos, But I will post videos covering things that I feel not enough people are talking about or need to know. My goal is simple, make money online, with honest marketing.

But again, clickfunnels is great, russell brunson is a very smart guy, and this program could be very useful to certain individuals, especially if your managing multiple businesses ad campaigns.

But if you don’t have the 97 bucks a month to fork over I highly reccomend the alternative options I cover in the video, I may make more videos going more into depth about creating those types of pages in WordPress and Canvas.

What do you think of the video?

A Dog is A Good Travel Buddy!

There’s something about my dog dodger’s energy that I can’t help but love. He gets excited about everything in life, but at the same time he is very lazy. He use to pee in the house a lot when he got excited but he doesn’t do that so much anymore, but still gets excited at the sight of anyone.

The best thing about Dodger is how he makes an adventure out of walking through the local forest and fields, and though its not far from Finlandia, it’s still technically off Finlandia so its blog worthy, he makes it seem like we’re miles away, we always discover new hidden spots real close to home, which make my down time fun.

I’ve never taken him on a plane before but I think it would be cool to take him out of country, does anyone have any experience with this? I think he would be too scared to go on a plane.

Just A Few Days in New Smyrna Beach, FL

20180131_124554

I have always loved Florida, it is such a beautiful and relaxing state, it has a very unique atmosphere mixed with all sorts of demographics. I feel like Florida gets a bad rep for being all old people, although that statement is ALMOST true there is an abundance of nightlife and youth that I found quite refreshing.

My Mother has a house down in New Smyrna Beach and asked me if I wanted to go down with her, due to me switching jobs I had the freedom to go. I had not been to this house since I was a little kid so I was excited to see everything and see if I remembered anything.

I took a cheap Allegiant Flight out of Fort Wayne, IN, Allegiant always has good prices but sometimes their planes are kind of cramped. I was sitting with a 30-Something-year-old and his daughter, they were cool people, talked just a little then I was out within minutes until we landed.

My Grandpa picked me up from the airport and drove me back to his and my Grandma’s house. They live in Venetian Bay, it is a beautiful and huge residential complex accompanied by a local pool and strip of shops including, A Happy Deli, which is to die for, I highly recommend it. Me and my Grandparents had a bite to eat their before we headed out to pick my mother up from the airport.

Once we got my Mom we headed back to the house in New Smyrna Beach. Immediately upon seeing the house I was flooded with many memories from my childhood, memories of me and my sister and brother chasing lizards and hoping to see crocodiles, it was nice to see those memories that are often not thought of.

The first day we got there the weather was not great but it was a heck of a lot better than what it was in Indiana, so I wasn’t complaining. We walked down the beach and I got in the water, there’s nothing more relaxing than a beach, but I don’t have to tell you. I loved every second of it, I wish we could have stayed longer so I could still be enjoying it, lol.

We ate out at a lot of places so I could get a taste of everything. The First day we ate at JB’s Fish Camp and I tried Alligator for the first time, and let me just say it was so delicious, if you’ve never had it I would highly recommend it and if your in the New Syrmna Beach area you should get your Alligator from JB’s.

We also stopped in at Norwoods Treehouse, which is my favorite spot hands down. They serve amazing food and the bar upstairs is a Tree House and its so freaking cool. The prices for the drinks weren’t bad either, and she made the long island pretty stiff, lol. Hands down I would recommend this spot to anyone in the area. A very popular spot that I walked through but did not eat at was, The Garlic, next visit I am for sure stopping in for a bite at this one of a kind location, I can’t even describe it but it was very cool, and would be the perfect romantic date for anyone.

SpaceX was launching a rocket while I was down there and we were all so excited to see it go off, I was trying to go to the viewing platforms at the Kennedy Space Center but no one else was down, what a shame, lol. It didn’t matter anyway as they delayed the launch until the next day. So the next day came and we went shopping, we totally forgot about the launch and we were in a surf shop when it went off. I was disappointed but didn’t care too much, the only way I thought it would be cool to see is if we went to the viewing platforms.

We stopped at the Canaveral National Seashore which was a cool national park, they had the biggest seashell mound there and we walked to the top, the view up there was stunning. It was nice being able to stamp another national park in my National Park Passport book, if your like visiting national parks I would recommend getting one, their pretty cool.

All-in-all, my trip to New Smyrna Beach was a successful one, I had a lot of fun with my mom and aunt as well as my Grandparents. We a had a lot of laughs and even more good food. I cant wait to head back.
